What we do
We begin the cleaning process by thoroughly vacuuming the carpet as there is usually a lot more trapped dry dirt in a carpet than people realise and this must be removed first.
When we come to give you a quote we will test your carpet to see what it is made of as this has a bearing on the cleaning process. We will also ask about and look for any unusual stains as these may require special treatment.
Next we spray a cleaning fluid (prespray) onto the carpet. We have several different cleaning agents appropriate for a variety of carpets.
We pay particular attention to heavily soiled areas.
After spraying the carpet we use a counter rotating brush (CRB) to help the prespray to break down the dirt in the carpet fibres.
Once the prespray has had time to break down the dirt we use our powerful hot water extractor machine. The machine sprays hot water into the carpet and then the double vacuum extracts the dirty water leaving the carpet clean.
Any remaining stubborn or unusual stains are spot treated after the carpet has been cleaned.
